My doula services

A doula holds the complexity, care, and joy of a transformational experience like birth or gender affirming care. These moments call on us to listen closely to what we need and lean on our community for support. You already have what you need for this change. I’ll help you hear your own voice and strengthen your pathways to community care to keep you safe and have the experience you dream of. 

I seek reproductive justice, safe and affirming healthcare, and harm reduction for all of my clients. As your doula, you can expect me to include somatic therapy, informed consent, and justice-centered education in our time together. I offer doula services to folks who require care for birth & postpartum and gender affirming care. I also offer doula support for loss of a wanted pregnancy, abortion, adoption & fertility, and HIV care.

Birth & Postpartum

  • I am a full spectrum doula certified by Cornerstone Doula Training. I offer:

    • prenatal sessions

    • full, in-person attendance of birth

    • postpartum care services

    Navigating pregnancy, labour and birth, and postpartum continues to come with unique experiences and systemic challenges. Life givers and those who love them deserve responsive, informed care practices that support them to feel held and confident in their choices.

    I am excited to connect and learn what specific needs look like for you and how we can work together to create a birth and postpartum experience where your joy is protected and your body sovereignty shines brightly.

    Birth Package: $1,500 - $2,000

    Postpartum days: $35 per hour

Gender Affirming Care

  • Everyone deserves to feel the magic and wonder of their bodies and delight in gender expression.

    Whatever the transformation, it is a privilege to journey with clients to increase access to gender affirming care and to find as much ease and flow in those processes.

    Together, we rely on your deep body wisdom and longing to guide the way. Working together is a chance to go inward and name gender dreams and take tangible steps towards them. This can look like, but is not limited to:

    • Space to explore gender expression and curiosities

    • Preparation for gender affirming surgeries

    • Attendance to support you at surgeries, procedures, or appointments

    • Support during recovery, like post-op check ins, physical care, and emotional care

    • Strengthening personal care networks

    • Navigating dynamics with family and friends

    • Strategies for coping with gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia

    • Practices for sustaining pleasure and trans joy

Abortion Care

  • Everyone deserves access to abortion services while feeling safe and held throughout the experience. As a full spectrum doula, I offer support for all approaches to abortion.

    Working together is a chance to lay down the externalized pressures of what an abortion is, “supposed to look like,” and get clear on your specific needs and desires. Together we will find the path forward, ensuring that you are heard and receive the care you envision for yourself.

    This includes intentional practices to decrease harm to Black, Brown, Indigenous, and Ttans clients. This type of care looks very different based on client needs and the type of abortion practice.

Adoption & Fertility

  • Family making can take many forms, and regardless of the process, growing our families can come with many challenges and needs for support.

    Working with a doula through fertility and adoption is a chance to be held, witnessed, and advocated for in whatever experience you choose.

    Both fertility and adoption also come with their unique histories and barriers that require community care. Together, we will walk through each step, centering your needs and your intentions while learning about fertility procedures and adoption bureaucracy.

HIV Care

  • Before becoming a doula, I organized alongside queer and trans, Black and Brown, and Indigenous peers in the HIV and Hep C movement, working to decrease the impacts of HIV stigma. I continue this work by offering one-on-one services to HIV positive folks who are looking for support with navigating their status or the impacts of stigma in their day-to-day lives.

    Whether you’re new to your status or have been living with HIV for your whole life, the barriers of disclosure and navigating healthcare can have such a strain. Working together is a chance to have someone in your corner to attend appointments or hold space for your experiences, while centering your joy and safety.

Loss of a Wanted Pregnancy

  • For many of us, growing our family can come with loss and grief. When a pregnancy ends suddenly it can feel like we don’t know which way is up. Everything has changed but not in the way we had envisioned. It can feel like there is no way to go back or move forward. It can be hard to know how to lean on or be held by our families and communities.

    Working with a doula during a loss is a chance to be with your grief, while also being held and supported through postpartum. Loss of a wanted pregnancy leaves families, couples, and birthing parents forever changed. This type of transformation is deeply personal and powerful and can be too much for us to hold on our own.

    Together we will find pathways towards recovery, healing, and acceptance, while ensuring that you are lovingly held by your community.

Service fees & Accessibility

Service costs are priced on a sliding scale and payment plans are available. Payments from the higher end of the sliding scale contribute to a community fund for folks who do not have access to financial resources. Additional donations can also be made to the community fund at any time. No one will be turned away due to financial restrictions.

Mi'kmaw and local urban Indigenous individuals and organizations receive services for free.
